SportVis is a clear solution of sterile 1% sodium hyaluronate in a phosphate buffered saline containing a series of two peri-articular injections. Each pre-filled syringe contains 1.2ml 1% low molecular weight sodium hyaluronate. The package includes 2 pre-filled syringes and each syringe is for single use.

Usage

SportVis (Sodium Hyaluronate) is a prescription medication that is used relieve pain and restore function in damaged tendons and ligaments. It is a peri-articular injection of STABHATM (soft tissue adapted biocompatible hyaluronic acid) that can help in your recovery of Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy.

Side Effects

The most common SportVis side effects include site reactions such as discoloration, itching, pain, redness, swelling, and tenderness. SportVis contains STABHA which is a natural product and has non systemic side effects. Tell your doctor or get medical attention immediately if you experience any serious side effects or allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, swelling of the face/throat, or trouble breathing.

Warnings and Interactions

Do not use SportVis if you are allergic to Sodium Hyaluronate or to any ingredients in this medication. SportVis should only be injected by a healthcare professional trained in peri-articular injection techniques. SportVis must not be injected into blood vessels or into a hematoma.
