Usage

Rydapt (Midostaurin) is a prescription medication used to treat certain types of blood cell cancer (acute myeloid leukemia-AML, mast cell leukemia-MCL) or an immune system disorder called mastocytosis. Midostaurin belongs to the class of medications called kinase inhibitors. This medication works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells and certain immune system cells.

Rydapt may affect fertility in both men and women. Use effective birth control to prevent pregnancy. Do not breast-feed while using Rydapt and for at least four months after your last dose. Rydapt is approved for use by anyone younger than 18 years old.
