Nivemycin (Neomycin) is a prescription medication used to treat bacterial infections of the intestine and other conditions. The active ingredient in the Nivemycin tablet is Neomycin. It works by binding to polysomes, inhibiting protein synthesis, and generating errors in the transcription of the genetic code.
