Lacrisert Opht Insert Information:

Lacrisert is an eye lubricant used to treat dry eyes. Lacrisert is used to relieve burning, irritation, and discomfort of the eyes due to dryness.
Ask your healthcare provider or read the information in the package to determine if contact lenses can be worn during treatment with Lacrisert. Remove contact lenses before administering the drops if you are unsure whether they can be worn during treatment. Wash your hands before using the eye drops.
To apply the eye drops:
• Tilt the head back slightly and pull down on the lower eyelid. Position the dropper above the eye. Look up and away from the dropper. Squeeze out a drop and close the eye.
