Mavyret (Glecaprevir/Pibrentasvir) is a prescription medication used to treat adults and children 12 years or older or over 99 pounds with chronic hepatitis C virus genotypes (GT) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 infection without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis. Mavyret is a combination of Glecaprevir and Pibrentasvir. Glecaprevir and Pibrentasvir are both antiviral medications that prevent hepatitis C virus (HCV) from multiplying in your body. This medication is usually prescribed after other medications have been tried without success.

Side Effects and Precautions

The common side effects of Mavyret may include feeling tired and headache. Mavyret may cause serious liver problems and death in rare cases. Call your doctor right away if you have any symptoms such as:
