Chemical Name: Brinzolamide/Timolol
Azarga eye drops (Generic name: Brinzolamide and Timolol Maleate) is a new combination ophthalmic suspension for treatment of elevated eye pressure (IOP) associated with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension in adults patients. Azarga is a formulation includes 1% Brinzolamide and 0.5% Timolol Maleate. Brinzolamide and Timolol decrease elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) primarily by reducing aqueous humour secretion, but they do so by different mechanisms of action.
