Syringe and Needle Information: BD Syringe and Needle are sold as singles. They come in two volumes, 3cc and 5cc. Depending on the length you choose, you might also be able to choose the needle thickness, also called the "gauge." The higher the gauge, the thinner the needle. For example, a 23 gauge needle is thinner than a 21 gauge needle.
The needle length and gauge has been abbreviated as 23 G x 1'1/2'' (this would mean this particular needle is one and one-half inches long with a 23 gauge needle).
