Usage

Revolution (Selamectin) is a topical parasiticide used to treat dogs (from six weeks of age and older) and cats (eight weeks of age) with fleas, ear mites, heartworm disease, roundworms, and hookworms. It is also an effective treatment option for cats or dogs with ear mites, roundworms, and hookworms. The active ingredient in Revolution topical is Selamectin. It belongs to the class of medication called semisynthetic ivermectin. It works by paralyzing and killing parasites.

Side Effects and Precautions

The common side effects of Revolution are loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhoea, muscle tremors, itchiness, redness, lethargy, salivation, and increased breathing rate.

Stop using Revolution for your pet and contact your veterinary doctor right away if your pets have any of the serious side effects such as:
• Continuous salivation;
• Hair loss;
• Severe body itching;
• Severe diarrhea;
