Usage

Zonegran (Zonisamide) is a prescription medication used to treat partial seizures in adults and teenagers at least 16 years old. Partial seizures affect a single brain area and are often associated with epilepsy. Sometimes, partial seizures may be harmless, but in some cases, the condition may be severe. The active substance in Zonegran is Zonisamide. Zonisamide belongs to a class of medication called sulfonamide antiepileptic drug. It works by decreasing abnormal electrical activity in the brain.
