Usage

Benzamycin (Benzoyl Peroxide/Erythromycin) is a combination prescription topical cream used to treat acne and reduce the number of blackhead pimples. The active ingredients in Benzamycin are Benzoyl Peroxide and Erythromycin). Erythromycin and benzoyl peroxide belong to the group of medications called topical antibiotics. The combination of erythromycin and benzoyl peroxide works by killing the bacteria that cause acne. Erythromycin works by stopping the growth of acne-causing bacteria. Benzoyl peroxide also kills acne-causing bacteria and causes the top layer of skin to dry and peel off so new skin can form.
