Usage

Estalis Patches (Estradiol/Norethindrone) is a prescription patch used for the short-term relief of symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness; these symptoms occur when the body makes less estogen. Estalis is a type of treatment called hormone replacement therapy (HRT) containing two female hormones – an estrogen (estradiol) and progestin (norethindrone) Estradiol is a form of estrogen, a female sex hormone that regulates many processes in the body. Norethindrone is a form of progesterone, a female hormone that regulates ovulation and menstruation. Norethindrone helps to reduce the risk of cancer of the uterus which can be caused by using estrogen. Estalis Patches should not be used by women who have had their uterus removed (hysterectomy). • Liver disease;

This medication may increase your risk of cancer of the breast, uterus, or ovaries. Do not smoke while you are using Estalis as it can increase these risks. Avoid the use of grapefruit products. Tell your doctor about all the medications you take including prescription, OTC, herbal products, and vitamins. There may be a drug interaction between Estradiol and Norethindrone and other medications. Do not use Estradiol and Norethindrone if you are pregnant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
