MediSave.ca Answers
Q1: Do I need a prescription?
A: Yes. Like your local pharmacy, MediSave.ca requires a prescription before it
can provide your medications. Please fax us a copy of your medical
practitioner's prescription, this will serve as your official prescription. If
you have submitted your Patient Information Form and Authorization &
Release Forms online, then you should include your order ID number on the
prescription when you fax this to our Toll Free fax number.

A: Yes. MediSave.ca will dispense your medication according to physician
instructions. If an alternative generic formulation is available and you
request it, we will then dispense this alternative.

Q3: How do Canadian medications compare in quality to
International medications?
A: Canada has exceptionally high standards, a rigorous approval system and very
strict requirements for the manufacturing and sale of brand and generic
medications. These requirements are very similar to, and sometimes higher than,
those of other industrialized countries.

Q4: How can I pay for my order?
A: MediSave.ca accepts Visa and MasterCard. We also accept certified checks and
money orders, however, these must clear your bank before the medication will be
shipped, thus delaying the arrival of your order. We do not accept other credit
cards or any other form of payment.

Q5: Why are prescription drugs so affordable in Canada?
A: The price you pay for medications is less than in other countries because:
(1) The Canadian government regulates the cost of prescription drugs, keeping
prices down;
(2) There are more generic drugs (substitutes for brand name drugs) in Canada
than in other industrialized countries;
(3) The Canadian Dollar is weak in comparison to the UK Pound, the Euro and the
US Dollar

order sent worldwide.

Q7: Are there any limits on the quantity of medications I can
buy at one time?
A: Yes. Typical International Customs allow us to mail you up to a 90-day supply
of each drug per order for personal use only. If your physician writes a
prescription for more than a 3-month supply, MediSave.ca can process refill
orders as they come due. You can choose to have us send you the next refill
automatically just before your supply is scheduled to run out (ensuring an
uninterrupted treatment), or you can advise us when to send refills. There are
no restrictions on the number of types of drugs in each order.
