Product Details

Monopost belongs to a class of medications known as prostaglandins. It is used to lower the pressure within the eye, for treating conditions such as open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Both of these conditions are linked with an increase in pressure within your eye, eventually affecting the eye sight. Monopost lowers the pressure inside the eye by increasing the natural outflow of the fluid from the eye into the bloodstream. Monopost is available as 50 micrograms/ml eye drops, solution in single dose container.

Some less serious side effects of Monopost may include gradual change in the eye color (increase in the amount of brown pigment in the colored part of the eye), redness of the eye, eye irritation (a feeling of burning, grittiness, itching, stinging, or sensation of a foreign body in the eye, a gradual change to the eyelashes of the treated eye (increase of color, length, thickness and number of eye lashes), eyelid inflammation and eye pain. Do not use Monopost if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to latanoprost or any of the other ingredients of this medicine, are pregnant or trying to become pregnant, are breast feeding.
