Chemical Name: Lurasidone
Latuda (Lurasidone) is indicated for the treatment of patients with schizophrenia. The efficacy of Latuda in schizophrenia was established in four 6-week controlled studies of adult patients with schizophrenia. Latuda may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
You may experience less serious side effects of Latuda:
• feeling restless;
• nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, loss of appetite;
• blurred vision;
• weight gain;
• breast swelling or discharge;
• missed menstrual periods; or
• decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm.
