Stablon (Tianeptine) is a prescription medication used in treating major depressive disorders in people with depression. The active ingredient in Stablon is Tianeptine. Stablon belongs to the class of medications called Anti-depressants. Stablon works by modulating glutamate receptor activity (for example, AMPA receptors and NMDA receptors) and affects the release of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which impacts neural plasticity. Side Effects and Precautions

The most common side effects of Stablon are abdominal pain, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, constipation, headache, insomnia, nausea, weight gain.

Stop using Stablon Tablets and contact your doctor right away if you have any of the serious side effects such as:
• Blurred vision;
• Confusion state, hallucination;
• Difficulty in breathing;
• Involuntary movement;
• Fast, pounding or irregular heartbeat, chest pain;
