IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF Alesse from Canada, take it as soon as you remember. Take your next dose at the regular time. This means you may take 2 doses on the same day. Alesse Side Effects: The Alesse pills provided in the Preven Emergency Contraceptive Kit are combination oral contraceptive (COC) pills. Based on clinical experience over several years of use of ECPs the most common Alesse side effects reported were as follows:
Nausea.
Vomiting.
Menstrual irregularities.
Breast tenderness.
Headache.
Abdominal pain/cramps.
Dizziness.
